Business ICON QLD 2008 is the premier professional business competition for young Queenslanders. Over the course of a week, contestants are given complex business problems that test their creative thinking, business and leadership skills. A panel of experienced businesspeople including Business ICON sponsors will judge the tasks.  This competition is open to all Queenslanders between 18 to 25 years old.  There have been past contestants from fields such as engineering, IT, creative industries and science as well as business.

We are looking for young people motivated to gain real- world experience by running QLD’s biggest business competition for young people. Business Icon™ is a six day contest running in September2009 where competitors complete four carefully designed business and social tasks which require them to think outside the box and STAND OUT.We are currently recruiting for the 2009 Business Icon Executive Committee. As a member of the committee you will help to plan and run the entire competition by taking on a role suited to your area of study or interest.

We are currently recruiting for the following roles;

• Public Relations Officers
• Events Management Officers
• Online Communications Manager
• Graphic Designer
• Finance and Accounts Manager
