by Mike Boyd on May 18, 2009 · Comments

I’m speaking at this month’s Interactive Minds Seminar about the use of Twitter in business. I will be discussing how businesses can appropriately and effectively engage their customers through social media by building real relationships and not spam. It should be a great morning with a raft of fantastic speakers lined up. Make sure you get in early and snap up your tickets because they’re already selling like hot-cakes! :)

Interactive Minds: May Event

Twitter: It’s So Hot Right Now!

Find Out What Companies Are Tweeting and Why

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Attracting almost 10 million visitors in February 2009 Twitter’s traffic is exploding with the popular micro-blog being used for both individuals and organisations worldwide.

Attend our May event to hear how local companies are using Twitter to share ideas, promote their businesses and themselves.

In keeping with the world of microblogging, each presenter has 5 minutes, slightly more than 140 characters to share their Twitter experiences. We’ll find out why they use Twitter, how they measure success, their learnings, favourite tools and future plans.

Join us for this fascinating look at the latest social media phenomenon.

Our Speakers

For this event we will have multiple speakers each taking a few minutes to tell us about how they use Twitter:
